I'm in the market for a new pair of slippers, ready for the winter.

I want some recommendations please for hugging my tootsies this winter.

fitflops I get cold feet and you can wear them to put the bin out.

Celtic sheepskin bootees are the best winter slippers. They wear very well. Mine normally last 3 years but a fox has stolen one so I need a new pair early. Grr.

I got some for £7 in Asda. They meet the following slipper must haves:
Enclosed heel to minimise falling risk
Rubber sole for outdoor wear
Comfy as fuck
Cheap enough to replace after too many tea spillages

In fact I may invest in a lifetime supply of them.

Oh and foxes won't mistake them for prey

Ugg boots! I've been wearing Uggs for over 20 years as slippers. That's what they actually were before they got hijacked and super cool. I love them and my feet are always toasty.

I love Ruby and Ed ballerina slippers. They're extremely comfy and warm, but not the most hardy. I wear slippers for 10 months of the year and I hope my new pair will see me through the coldest 6 months before getting too tatty.
