EBay ""Buy it Now"

I'm a novice on EBay. When you see an item with a Buy it Now option, does it mean buy it for the asking price or are you expected to haggle and make an offer?

Thanks Smile

Sometimes you have the option to make a "best offer", but if not then you are buying at the price specified. (If it gives the choice to make a bid or BIN, the BIN disappears as soon as a bid is in.)

I always make an offer price if there is the option for 'best offer' . Seller has probably inflated the buy it now price to account for this. The only exception to this is if you really, really want it so much that you can't bear the thought of somoene else getting in with a higher offer in which case buy it now.
