Why is my foundation DOING THIS??

Apologies for the terrifying photo but it's the best I could do! Using the same moisturiser, same primer, same foundation as I always do, but it's going all funny on my skin! It's all patchy and no amount of blending with my brush is getting rid of it! It's sitting around my mouth in patches and sinking into my pores! I'm thinking of changing my foundation anyway because the colour of this one isn't quite right, should I be trying something different? Any words of wisdom would be appreciated!

Is one of your products too old?

Has the formula changed as water & silicone do not mix, so if one is silicone based & one is water based it will pill & look uneven. Have you replaced your primer or foundation recently?

Hmm, the foundation is a recently opened one, but it's been in my drawer a while because I got them on three for two. Maybe they've changed the formula?

When I had patchy foundation nice lady in Bobbi Brown told me I needed to exfoliate more, that it was dead skin cells causing it. Ive started using nip and fab pads and seen a difference.

I would try exfoliating see if that helps. Also not sure if this will be the same for you, but I can never get an even finish blending foundation with a brush, I find a beauty blender gives a better overall 'flawless' effect.

I'd say exfoliate too, my foundation does this when my skin need a good exfoliate. I always love the first time putting make up on after exfoliating because my skin is so smoooooooth and everything sits so nicely

Try putting it on with a sponge or your fingers, to see if it's the product or the brush? Maybe you need to wash your brush?
