Huge spot - no money - help!

Apologies in advance if this is TMI.
I have a huge spot on the edge of my bottom lip. It had two small heads and burst as I stuck my tongue in my lip to stretch it out.
Normally I just let these things take their time but I have one of those hellish and miserable family photoshoot things. (Not my idea, my dads birthday request.)
I need to try and reduce the size & redness overnight but have no money to go out and buy anything.
Does anyone have a home remedy they can recommend, please! 🙏

Toothpaste.

Works fantastically at shrinking and de-reddening spots. Slap it over the spot before bed and when you wake it should be much better.

YY white toothpaste overnight (make sure you wash it off before you go out Wink )

Ooh. I forgot about toothpaste! Can I put it on now and wash & reapply before bed? It's a real shiner!
Thank you!

If it's already burst and there's no yucky stuff left in it-I'd get some surgical spirit on a cotton pad and hold it on the spot for a minute every hour-that should help a lot with the swelling.

Yep, put some on now. It will dry out and harden over the spot after a while (and if you're like ne you'll find the peeling off of this immensely satisfying).

And then same again before bed.

Sudocrem is another great spot treatment btw.

Ice cube wrapped in a thin cloth. Apply for a minute, take it off and wait 5 minutes then apply for another minute. Should hopefully take the swelling and redness down, then you can use the toothpaste overnight.

Ask the photographer to photoshop it out. Those photoshoot people are paid to make you look good!
