A recent coat thread drew my attention to this brand. They look fab but i know nothing about the fit and pros and cons. If yoh own onw would you recommend it and why? Conversely are there bad points? I am an 8-10 on top, would a 34 or 36 be thd best fit? Smile

DH lost a snap (is that what you mean) off his Didriksons after two wears and Vikingkids really struggled to put it right get, was a pita, effectively a brand new jacket with a hole in it where the snap hadn't been pressed on properly.

Prym do some big snaps that are almost identical, I bought those when I saw them just in case, of course it hasn't happened again.

Catherine no it's literally the metal button with the Didrikson name on it. It's so annoying as I had it and Dh threw it away!

Thats a shame, how many of them are there on the coat. I think it would probably be easer to swap them all.

Do you use the fur thing on your hood, I wonder if there are buttons on that that are the same size, it might be easier to swap those if they are.

Oh dear dear me. I just bought 2 coats from vikingkids! A gorgeous mizzie mac. Black isn't really my colour but it looks wonderful and a vibrant coat in peat. I found a 25% off coupon too so the pair of them and shipping came to £146.

I'm 5ft4 and cos of my tits have the 44 and fits up top probably better than at hips but I LOVE IT...It's so warm, properly waterproof and the hood is a proper furry parka hood. I feel very smug in it come January. I've worn it in biting German cold winter and been snug. I think they are cool af too

My husband very kindly bought me a Didricksons Mary coat from these people www.lawskirkcudbright.co.uk/ when we were on holiday last year. It is the warmest, most wonderful coat ever. The couple who own the shop know the sizing of each coat and how they compare and feed this back to Didrickson's. Can't recommend them enough - they even had a woman on the telephone from Sweden looking for a particular colour whilst I was in!!
