Leather leggings

I'm prepared to be told not to be a fool, but would leather leggings work on a size 18 with eg high heels and longish top? Am thinking of a classy very dark blue. Have been swayed by baukjen basically stalking me with images of 6 foot tall size 8 models wearing them :)

Thank you damedoom Grin

Just waiting for a bit of cold weather now. Talking about pleather leggings, I had some m&s ones which were lovely. I lost some weight and they didn't fit so sold them on eBay. They were great quality and cheap enough to just try them without too much commitment. I'll see if I can find them.

Hi knowler how did you get on with those leggings?

I bought a pair of faux leather leggings from Next and am amazed by how much I wear them. Who knew?!!! They go with virtually everything in my wardrobe, though I'm a "dress down" kinda gal

I sorely tempted to go for real leather ones but at sixes 14 and early 40s I am nervous.....any advice from other leather legging/trouser wearers?

I got the Hush leather leggings for my birthday last weekend. I am 44 size 12 but with big calves. I struggle to get boots that do up round my calves so was worried they wouldn't fit but they do and I love them. I imagine them getting lots of wear both dressed up and down over the coming months.

Ooh, the Hush ones are lovely...lucky you!

Doestrogen anyone recommend sizing up or sizing down generally? Do leather leggings tend to stretch a bit? And how many weare do you tend to get out of them before (dry??) Cleaning?
