Knickers

Where do you buy your basic everyday knickers? Bored with m & s. I'm not looking for special matching undies, just everyday briefs or shorts.

I find Primark pretty good for underwear

Chewbecca · 24/08/2016 10:15

John lewis own brand

AnthonyPandy · 24/08/2016 10:18

John Lewis 5 for £10 black and nude. There's no point looking anywhere else, they are the creme de la creme of knickers.

roseteapot101 · 24/08/2016 10:44

i hate primark they fall apart evans seem comfy enough i actually find m&s does the best long lasting comfortable underwear

i also really like playtex underwear from amazon they are very good quality

ButteredToastAndStrawberryJam · 24/08/2016 11:11

Tesco or Asda.

BiddyPop · 24/08/2016 11:14

Sloggi - I find them in various department stores

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/08/2016 11:18

M&S 3 for 2 usually, but they seem to have stopped doing the pairs I like best (plain black with a bit of non-itchy lace).

poppym12 · 24/08/2016 11:20

I'm shopping tomorrow. There's a debenhams, m & s, primark, boux avenue, Ann summers but no John lewis. I don't mind spending on pretty underwear and sets but im too mean to spend €5 or 6 for a pair of everyday type pants.

Another JL fan. You can get them online, too

chough · 24/08/2016 15:25

Another vote for Sloggi, because they stay where they're supposed to stay.

John Lewis deliver to Waitrose. I think it's free delivery over £30 but you may need to order £30 worth to ensure you get the correct fit Smile and go down a size as they come up big. www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-5-pack-pima-cotton-full-briefs/p359791?colour=Black

I'm not on commission, promise!

Sainsburys

BobbinThreadbare123 · 24/08/2016 22:31

Sainsburys do pretty decent knickers. I usually go M&S but have expanded to Sainsbos and also wiped out our local BHS's supply of size 10 big comfy pants before they shut down.

CointreauVersial · 24/08/2016 22:58

M&S all the way, always (sorry). I probably should branch out, but if it ain't broke.....

poppym12 · 24/08/2016 23:36

Thank you all for the suggestions. Hopefully my undies drawers will be restocked tomorrow Smile

These.

Cotton, comfy, not scratchy, low rise, don't dig in, no badly placed seams, cheap. Not usually a fan of M&S undies but these are great.

John Lewis used to do the best multi pack cotton high leg but they've stopped making them. I can't quite bring myself to go for the full brief.

Sativa · 25/08/2016 00:12

Sainsburys - shorts with lace trim 3 for £8. I can't stop buying them ....

CallarMorvern · 25/08/2016 00:25

Had to emergency buy a pack of black bikini style knicks in Peacocks a while back, thought they would be dire, but they have worn really well, better than my last M&S ones. I'm going to get some more.

bingohandjob · 25/08/2016 02:05

After two decades of swearing by M&S the quality of their knickers and tights dropped so much tried loads of others - John Lewis came at best. Good quality, basic knickers - though they do err on generous side in sizing so I've gone down a size.

Lollyp333 · 25/08/2016 02:09

Am I allowed to post a link on here? I got a fab pack of 12 from ebay - I wasn't expecting much but they are magnificently comfy and wash really well
