Clothes you always take on holiday - just in case

My SIL always takes a swimsuit everywhere just in case.
I once had a need for a fleece/sweater in Florida ( Dec 2012 was COLD) and so now always take a cashmere sweater EVERYWHERE

what do you always take with?

Ha I always take a posh outfit even though by day 3 I've ditched make up/jewellery/bra/all self respect.

This year I'm taking black patent stilettos, white culottes and a silk shirt. God knows why, but I feel I need to just in case!

i am in Jersey.
i wish I had brought my pale grey cashmere sweater for last weekend
Also some hoop earrings

Very pleased with an old boden white cover up from last summer, and some neon pink cut offs from Marks two years ago

A sarong when going abroad, we usually have a cultural side to our holidays so it's a great cover up for going into churches , or to protect my arms some more on archaeological sites, they seem to broadcast the sun's rays

Another one who holidays in the far north so always take waterproof jacket. More an absolute necessity than just in case though!

We do take our swimming stuff everywhere, it was FILs funeral a few weeks ago and we took the swimming costumes and used them! Best way to tire out the kids before an event they have to be well behaved at.

Black cardi.

Vests as I feel the cold.

Cigarette trousers - can be dressed up or down.

Other than that, it depends on the season, and where I'm going.

A pair of tights. Worn under any trousers for instant warmth. I found thus out when it unexpectedly snowed in one place ....

I have a lovely v neck sheer white top I bought in mango marrakech with embellished metallic beading and stars. It works dressed up or down, never creases and works really hard. That always goes in along with a lightweight fine cotton cardigan and a huge cotton scarf which doubles as a sarong.

I take a properly bra sized bikini which doubles as an underwear set. A fold up bag and cagoule. Body scrub and butter. I always want these in hot countries.

A light cashmere jumper. Linen drawstring trousers. Metallic sandals.
