Rain macs/ trench coats

In the rain today I realised I had no suitable jacket/ coat. I used to have a nice trench coat type but I left it on the tube after a few too many What light garment do you wear in the rain?

It's not light weight but I'm planning to buy a Boden mac again this year. They are fleece lined and really warm / comfortable. I bought one last year thinking I would only use it in rainy weather but actually ended up wearing it all through winter and I didn't need to buy a traditional winter coat!

I'll check out the Boden one , thanks. Need a summer/ Autumn one as it is still hot in London (tube ) but just for when it rains.
