Black or brown biker boots? Assistance required

So I can only buy one pair of boots for the next six months or so and I've decided that they will be biker boots, but I can't decide on the colour. I tend to wear dark denim or grey / charcoal coloured jeans with tops in blues / greys / whites / creams / occasionally pink.

My preference just to look at are brown biker boots, but I feel as though black would probably suit that range of colours better.

Is there a rule? Which would you choose?

I'd go for brown but I'm wary about black leather with any blue denim other than the darkest indigo

Remus me too! I love them. So I have form for not being able to choose. I must say the brown ones got the most wear but I'd wear the ankle ones with different things I think.

I have a collection of brown leather bags. Very few black. So that should make it easier to decide..

My brown ones also get more wear. My heeled black ankle boots are the only black ones I have that get more wear than brown ones.

Halo you're welcome!

I've had to give up on a Clarks boots. I've had three pairs in the past three years. They all leak in rainy weather. I don't mean yomping through fields, walking the dog, I mean just out in town on a wet day. Ive had two leather knee length ones and a brushed suede type ankle boot.

Took them to a Timpsons outlet who said there's nothing they can do because it's the seal attached to the sole.

I prefer brown, like the boots, but not keen on gold buckles( or gold anything really). But not sure brown will go with charcoal.
