Is this dress too boring?

I want something for a nice anniversary meal and something I can wear for a couple of fairly dressy events I have coming up. I don't do short, frilly, bright colours or low cut. So is this dress as boring as sound?

Would wear it with gunmetal strappy sandals and a cuff.

No. I like it (despite having a bit if a rant about mint velvet on another tread).

Not very keen on the pattern on it.

I think it is lovely.

I love the shape but not sure about the pattern.

That's another thing silver it does look very MV. I like a lot of their stuff anyway but this might as well have the label on the outside of the dress.
