Is there such a thing as a summer one? Blush

Menopausal hot flushes are not helping..

I have lovely white 100% cotton knee length dressing gown from Primark for around a tenner. Reasonable quality and washes well. Excellent value

I have a light cotton one from M&S which I wear in the summer. It is lovely.

I'd recommend a Japanese yukata. Cotton, light and stylish. Have had one for years and the more I wear it, the softer it gets. And it has air vents in armpits Grin

I so need a waffle dreasing gown. I have a huuuggggeeee thick fluffy one 4 sizes too big that I bought when I was pg and lived in the house of fridge. Now I live in a eco friendly oven and just thinking about wearing it makes me sweat.

Plus it takes up so much room on the back of the bathroom door.

Goingtobeawesome · 13/08/2016 08:40

It's only about £22 for one from M & S and I can't face town for primark so I'll go with that. Apparently they are huge so I can pretend I'm not fat and buy a 12 HmmSad.

I have a linen one from H&M, very cool, knee length and perfect for warmer weather

Nettletheelf · 13/08/2016 10:20

I just ordered one of those Caro London ones, after what feels like years of searching for a cotton dressing gown that isn't so thin as to be transparent or made of waffle fabric or a boring colour. Hurrah! Nice one Freebuttonbee.

I'm back but bought the heart one forgetting I was meant to be a grown up Grin. For some very weird reasons the shoes didn't fit so I bought 3 pairs of pants instead. Rude not too when three for two.

H&m had some nice linen ones, in premium range

Cotton kimonos.

Yes, they are a bit more pricey at £75 a go, but they are fantastic. I'm wearing one I bought five years ago. They wash well, are cool in summer and look really nice. The only downside is that they don't have pockets but I've learned to live with that.

FreeButtonBee · 13/08/2016 21:59

Nettle you won't regret it. I luffs mine. I now plan my summer on purchases around the pattern!😄😄

lisbapalea · 13/08/2016 21:59

I have a really lovely white cotton one from m&s - thinner than waffle, just standard cotton. Might be a few years old now though.

elephantoverthehill · 13/08/2016 22:03

I bought a cotton one from Next years ago, it is still going strong and a jersey cotton one from sainsbury's earlier this year.
