Work Bag that fits 12.5 inch laptop: Help me be stylish!

Style and me do not normally go together. I have recently got a 12.5 inch laptop at work which I love. But I would like something to carry it in that is not the backpack I have at the moment. Something stylish! And small.

To give you and idea, I currently have a Radley cross body bucket cross bag (maybe?) in dark blue that i bought on sale some 3 years ago. I often go out with keys, phone and card in my trousers pocket. The baby changing bag I had I selected based on it being the smallest I could find. -

I have seen people on this board being suggested such stylish things! Any help? As for budget: I would probably baulk at paying more than 150-200 GBP on it!

I guess I will stay my own unstylish self :D

Ah those look good! Cannot find any that are specifically for laptops except the sleeves. But can probably figure out which ones fit a laptop. Thanks!

I second Knomo - my daughter bought me a beautiful red leather laptop bag in TKMax and it was much admired.

knomo are great for laptops - very roomy with handy pockets. I also got mine from tk maxx.

I currently have a Boden tote in bright blue patent leather that I got from their ebay shop about 3 years ago. It fits my lapop and all other gubbins. (I had got fed up of carrying two bags - a small handbag for gubbins and a separate backpack style laptop bag). I still love it, and it took a lot of research to find what fitted the bill, but it is starting to look a bit scruffy and I am on the hunt for a replacement. The knomo tote looks like a good option but shame they don't do more interesting colours.

Le pliage - they come in 3 sizes - I think you want medium but you can check the measurements

They don't have insider compartments though, so you might want to get a handbag organiser from eBay for a couple of quid.

Le Pliage leather ver ver nice Jock but I want the carry handle to be larger so I can carry on shoulder, don't want to be faffing with detachable straps etc. They do the tote bag in the nylon but not, it seems, the leather?

Oh Wow! I have more replies . I cannot see the exact Knomo bag you link to up there (I am outside of UK, so it takes me to the main EU site) but I like the VIgo bag there (though it looks a bit big on the model?) Luckily for me there is a TK Maxx close by, so I will keep an eye out for them.

I also like the North South tote bag from the Cambridge Satchel company and it looks a bit smaller. It doesn't have a laptop section, but that can be sorted with a laptop sleeve, especially since I don't plan to be carrying my laptop all the time.

I'm not too keen on the Boden. The design details are not my style at all (but then what do I know about style ). Also not too keen on Le Pliage. They look like you can end up stuffing a lot in there! And that is not good with me .

This wasn't such a bad first try on this board! If you have any other suggestions keep them coming. Maybe I will dare ask another style question soon as well! I need all the help I can get .
