Help wise mumsnetters! My slip on converse that I wear for commuting have just FALLEN APART and I need a replacement ASAP. I would buy the same thing but they don't sell them any more - see pic for style. I want something similar. Comfortable for a long walk and that aren't just going to slip off my feet like ballet pumps do. Suggestions please!!

Regular converse or do they need to be slip on?

I may have to default to my regular converse but wearing full shoes with rights tends to give me kankles.

The answer to any questions about comfortable shoes is Sketchers Go Walk!!!

I prefer Converse Lite and Converse Dainty to regular Converse - find them much more comfy. You could give them a try?
Or, New Balance?

I'd go for leather Converse low tops, or 'proper' trainers. The fabric ballet-esque Converse won't stand up to rain v well.
