What do you wear with tan Chelsea boots?

I have a thing for flat Chelsea boots. I've always bought a cheap high street pair every winter, but last year invested in a black pair of Dr Martens ones and they are amazing.

I've just picked up a tan pair of the same Dr Martens in the Office sale for an absolute bargain (reduced to £67 then an extra 25% off with a code) and they looks beautiful, but I don't know what I'd wear them with. The black just seem to go with everything.

In winter I usually wear a dress (I generally swing towards navy, grey, burgundy colours) with black tights and a camel wool coat.

Would this go with the tan boots or not? I feel weird about wearing black tights with tan boots!

I ordered these and collected them today in store, but returned them immediately after trying them on. They came up too tall on me and I wouldn't have been able to wear them with dresses/skirts. All was not lost, because I bought some flat black suede Chelsea boots - but with a zip at the side - and also ordered some ankle boots. I have wide, small feet so finding anything that fits is like a miracle!

I just bought the green dress I linked. Lovely colour, fit & style.

The fabric is stretchy crepe & quite thin. It looks like it'll wash well & for £26 I'm keeping it.

I got the boots in tan today, I love them!
The 4 fits perfectly and they are so comfy, no breaking in needed like regular DMs!
I like the tan colour, I think once they've got the 'worn' look, they'll look great.

I wore them yesterday with skinny jeans.
I shall be wearing them with all jeans (most of mine are skinny jeans) either with jeans tucked in or out over the top of the boot, leggings and dresses, dresses and tights, skirts and tights.
Most of my jumpers are navy, cream or neutral shades, trousers are denim, khaki, burgundy and leggings are black.
Skirts I've got are baby and cream colours, and a couple of dresses I would wear them with are navy.
