Eyeliner pencil that won't smudge?

I recently switched from using Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner to using an eyeliner pencil as it goes on smoothly and is much quicker than faffing with a brush...but in the warm weather it seems to smudge really badly and end up in dark circles under my eyes. So I bought a waterproof one, which just seems to mean that the smudgy circles are slightly smaller. Can anyone recommend a non-smudgy non-running eyeliner pencil?

I'd go back to bobbi brown gel. Nothing smudges that.
If price is an issue, I now use Maybelline gel liner, much cheaper and includes a brush

I bought NYX gel pencil the other day
wore for first time today and it didn't smudge
need to do a few more days of testing

Gel pencils? Thank you Jack and ggirl I'll definitely check those out.

I'm impressed with nyx too but I don't really suffer with smudging problems.

have also heard good htings about NYx

the other i like is the lancome eyeshadow pancil in a purple colour

easy for a soft eyeliner look
