Little boy haircuts - double 'cowlick'

My little boy has beautiful strawberry blonde hair but style wise it's a bit of a mess. He's had 'short back and sides' at the barbers so far (he's 4) and that's not particularly successful as he cries and wriggles all the way through.

He has a cowlick (I think that's what it's called - like a receding hair line) on both sides of his forehead so I suppose would benefit from a longer fringe.

Any ideas of 'styles' he could grow into?

Sounds like you are describing a widows peak if you have a double receding hair line?

A cowlick is a bit of hair that stands up/grows oddly and at an angle to the rest of the hair. Tintin (cartoon character) has a cowlick.

I think a cowlick is a floppy bit of hair? The hairline receding on either side is a widows peak. Like Dracula has right? Only maybe less extreme Grin
I think they look great but no idea of what styles would work
