PLEasE heLP! Awful eyebrow tint job!

Hi everyone, so I went to the salon yesterday and got my eyebrows tinted, asking for light brown as I have ginger hair and really didn't want anything too dark (without product on my eyebrows I have insanely light blonde brows)... Too late for that because THEYRE BROWN/BLACK/GREY!

in other words - I feel ridiculous. I have tried head and shoulders to lighten them, tried fairy liquid, and I have exfoliated the eyebrow area to get tint off the skin - and I succeeded with that. However the problem that still remains is the fact that my eyebrow hairs are more or less black! Any suggestions on how to lighten them?

They're fabulous! Very envious - I'm a victim of over plucking when I was younger and I'd love eyebrows like yours. They look good

They look really good! Very natural and the colour compliments your hair perfectly.

As your new to Mumsnet, I should tell you that if they were too dark or bad looking then posters here would definitely tell you straight. There's no sugar coating on Style & Beauty. So you know they really do look good.

Gorgeous, they've done a fab job! Things like this Always look odd to you because you saw the 'before' every time you look in the mirror!

Thanks everyone so much!! I tried some lemon juice and baking not soda, I don't have sensitive skin so it didn't harm my skin at all and I saw some improvement - they look a lot better now! Reassurance was needed in order for me to go out of the house today!

Please don't ever change the shape or thickness, you've got lovely eyebrows!

I'm 50 and I've never over plucked unlike many women my age who now have hardly any hair left, and have to work with a spindly line caused by over plucking.

Eyebrows frame the face and as you get older/old, they play an even more important role!
