ASTRAL!

Praised Cetaphil moisturiser until the cows came home and then opted for a pot of this when I ran out of the £8.00 other stuff and it is unbelievable...apparently Joanne Lumley uses it but not sure but I am converted!!!

Has anyone else had good results with it?

My Mum has used it for as long as I can remember. I associate the smell of it with her. Without it she gets terrible dry skin and it helps her rosacea too.

Its glorious stuff. I've got dry skin and have used it for donkeys years as a night cream. I used to use it in the day as well but its a bit too shiny. I use Botanics Hydrating Day Cream now and I prefer it, but a nice thick layer of Astral every night!

WhoisLucasHood · 04/08/2016 13:39

I love it as a night cream and after sun body lotion.

I was in hospital next to an amazing older lady in her 70s who looked much younger who said her beauty secret was Astral. I had completely forgotten about it until now. Her skin was lovely.

My m-in -law has used it all her life...she is 86 and has AMAZING skin. Not sure if due to the Astral or genetic! But honestly, if it's the Astral then it's a wondercream!

MissBattleaxe · 04/08/2016 20:03

I love Astral. It's cheap as chips, sinks in quickly and made my skin look like I was wearing something far more expensive.

Madbengalmum · 04/08/2016 20:14

My husband swears by it!

Floisme · 04/08/2016 20:15

It makes my face itch, unfortunately. But Nivea in a blue pot works well for me.

"My Mum has used it for as long as I can remember. I associate the smell of it with her." THIS!! That is exactly what I was going to say! I've just started using it at the grand 'old' age of 34, when my mum was persuading me to use it from my teens, wish I had listened! She has amazing skin for her age, so I'll stick by it I think. Super cheap.

MadJackMcMad · 05/08/2016 10:34

Yep, me too. Only recently thought of trying it on my 48 year old dry skin and it is the best. I've tried all the usuals, some at great expense but this is my dream cream now. It can make you look a bit shiny at first but it sinks in quickly leaving a lovely gleam.

That's what I love about it, you get a lovely glowy dewy type of look when you apply make up over it. My dry skin has never looked better. Love the stuff.
