Right, which eyelash serums actually work?

Fed up of my short stubby offerings. They look OK with lashings of mascara but I'd like them to be longer. Tried castor oil brushed on each night for the last 3 months, it's done nada!

Rapidlash works really well for me. I get asked all the time if my lashes are real. It takes about two months to show a real difference, and if you stop using it your lashes will return to their stubby state. It's my number one beauty product.

I use rapid lash and rapidbrow. Also the RImmel mascara that includes a lash tint. I will never have Bambi lashes but they are at least visible now.

Extortionate price, I couldn't justify buying it personally but this sounds amazing!

Rapidlash.

I read the ingredients before starting it and couldn't see anything amazing in it so my expectations were low.

After 4 weeks there was barely anything happening, so I thought, "oh well, may as well use it up", and carried on applying each night.

2 weeks after that and omg, my eyelashes were ridiculously long. So long in fact that I had to trim a few that had shot ahead of the others and were touching my eyebrows.

I've been using it for 12 weeks now, (on second tube), and I look like I have eyelash extensions. I'm amazed by it. It's probably the best beauty product I've ever bought.

If you try it, remember to apply every single night and be patient. It was between weeks 6 and 8 that the growth really started.

EnidButton · 03/08/2016 01:14

Oh and at one point (8-9 weeks?) one eye had lashes that were growing in a different direction to the rest but they've dropped back into line and are now growing the same as the rest of them.

EnidButton · 03/08/2016 01:17

I feel nervous now that I've gushed and it might not work for you. 😰 Obviously people have different responses to these kinds of things but I guess my point was that it's definitely worth a try.

ZaraW · 03/08/2016 06:30

I used Rapid Lash after chemo around 5 years ago it was amazing. I tried it two years ago and the results were really disappointing as they've changed their formula it didn't work for me.

NanTheWiser · 03/08/2016 17:52

Rapid Lash worked for me too, amazingly long lashes, but I think my tube (now 2 years old) may have lost its effect, maybe the ingredients have a short shelf life, as it doesn't seem to work now. Wondering whether to splash out on a new tube.

HoneyDragon · 03/08/2016 17:53

Bimatoprost

Romcom · 03/08/2016 20:56

Wow, rapid lash it is then! I have used it before with good effect, I think the second time I gave up before it really started working. Thank you all

Oh, and where do you buy rapid lash please? Amazon?

HoneyDragon don't run away!! Come back! You can't just advise and run! Tell me about your results with it. Am terrified it would change the colour of my baby bluesGrin

HoneyDragon · 04/08/2016 00:17

I have brown eyes.

I get the same very slight pigment stain above my lash line as I did with Rapidlash. But it's much much more effective. I have non existent lashes naturally, within weeks they were longer.

JohnCheese · 04/08/2016 01:01

Oh thanks HoneyD. I hear the results are amazing. I can't get beyond the possible eye colour change tho. I don't know any blue eyed person who's has used it either. Maybe the colour change is v rare. Have v fair fine straight lashes. Fancy lush lashes. Yip first world problems.

joangray38 · 04/08/2016 03:30

Ive tried the gosh at superdrug one - there are lots of reviews comparing it favourably to rapid lash plus it's cheaper and doesn't change your eye colour ?

ihatethecold · 04/08/2016 09:32

How can something change your eye colour? Hmm

Globetrotter100 · 04/08/2016 10:07

Hahaha HoneyDragon, yes it's controversial but unbeatable Grin

Unfortunately I've developed a sensitivity to Bimatoprost so off it for now. But I highly recommend it (only) if someone is prepared to get their eyes checked out by an optician first and have brown eyes.

Also known as Lumigan or Latisse.

HoneyDragon · 04/08/2016 10:12

ihatethecold

It's a listed side effect, a rare one but can darken blue eyes.

ihatethecold · 04/08/2016 13:19

That's bonkers!

MrsAlexanderSkarsgard · 04/08/2016 13:22

Revitalash user here - very very happy

HoneyDragon · 04/08/2016 13:24

Better darker eyes than Glaucoma

MotherOfMinions · 04/08/2016 14:15

The Mavala one definitely doesn't work 😡

bendyruler · 04/08/2016 17:09

They sell rapidlash in boots.

febel · 04/08/2016 20:04

Not Mavala....didn't work AT ALL for me...waste of money. Tempted to try Rapidlash now...tho gasping at the price.
