Hello wise mumsnetters

First time in this section. I'm looking for sandals I can spend all day in so can go the distance yet are comfortable on my wide, short feet. Need some suggestions before I revert to my usual clarks/fit flop selections! TIA

Oh following as I need these as well. Currently getting swollen pregnant feet as well which is not helping
Been looking at hotter sandals

Chocamochalatte · 31/07/2016 21:34

Def Saltwater, best sandals I've ever bought!

ggirl · 31/07/2016 21:37

I ordered the saltwater ..not wide enough for my feet unfortunately

IndianaJone · 31/07/2016 21:45

I'd never heard of Saltwater so had to google and really liked them - cute!! But worried now they won't be wide enough after the last comment. I have EE width feet. Sad

Saltwaters stretch brilliantly if you persevere with them

SorrelForbes · 31/07/2016 21:54

I've got wide feet and bought these in black. Wore them for three weeks in the USA and did a lot of walking. Very comfy.

I have these fly sandals & they are super comfy for my wide feet. They're £25 less than I paid for them too Envy

Itscurtainsforyou · 31/07/2016 22:03

I bought these in red from tk maxx
http://www.jakeshoes.co.uk/item/heavenly-feet/ebony-wedge-sandals-in-black/2FWWY#.V55nUlR4WnM

When they're on they look great, width is adjustable and they're really comfortable.

Ok thank you - I'm off to have another look in that case. I just started going back to the Clarks website when really, I wanted to try something different this time. Thanks also to Choca for recommending.

Any others anyone??

Google Drifter Leather. You send them a scan of your foot outline and they base their shoes and gorgeous sandals on that!

I'm a big Birkenstock fan ... I can't wear any others now they are so comfy and feel like they support your whole foot.

PippaFawcett · 31/07/2016 22:12

I live in Birkenstocks too - my most recent pair took a week to wear in though so bear that in mind.

IndianaJone · 31/07/2016 22:18

So many suggestions for me to look at now. Thanks all. Flowers

Yes - Birkenstocks are one of my go to sandals too. My fit flops just broke today but before that I was in Birkenstocks. Hope I'm not looking for the impossible wanting style and comfort in a sandal. What I really want is to sashay around in pretty heels all summer but I will most definately fall and break my face so need to go for a more realistic option.

I have wide (and swollen) feet, my sandals of choice for this summer are a pair of Hotter and pair of Clarks Unvase which are nicer and more adjustable.

LordRothermereBlackshirtCunt · 01/08/2016 11:35

I have wide feet (and also love Birkenstocks). I've just bought these:
www.flipflopshop.co.uk/product/toms-lexie-woven-sandal-womens-sandal?id=16993
and these:
www.flipflopshop.co.uk/product/toms-zoe-leather-womens-sandal?id=16953
They are a little snug but seem to have some give so I think wearing them around the house for a bit will sort them out.
