I've bought this dress for my MIL's wedding next weekend and I'm struggling to choose some shoes/jewellery to go with it!

I'd ideally like gladiator sandals but I can't decide what colour and whether I should have a belt/jewellery and I'm getting stressed!!

Been feeling very mumsy since having baby DS so I really want to feel and look a million dollars Grin

It's a great dress, love the colour.

Do you actually mean gladiator sandals? It seems a most unlikely paring.

No need for a belt but some nice earrings and maybe a bracelet / some bangles would be good.

Great dress, id not wear gladiator sandals to a wedding ( although you could wear that dress more casually with flat tan or gold gladiators at a later date) I'd go for heels , and gold jewellery with a clutch. Doesn't really need a belt due to structure of the dress.

I say a lady in the shop wearing the same dress in ankle length gladiators and she looked amazing!! But open to other suggestions!

I'm 6"1 and partner is 6"2 so I don't really like wearing heels!

Her dress was in black so looked lovely with silver shoes, I just couldn't decide what colour to go with green!!

Will have a look for some gold jewellery, something understated?

I would put red shoes, if you don't want to wear heels a ballet style pump with ankle strap ? Small floppy clutch bag also in red. Not to everyone's taste but I think red and green are great together.

I think if you go with red, you are in danger of looking like a Christmas elf......

Cream or gold would be my choice.

Get some lovely ghillie tie up sandals.

Love that dress and second the 'no' to pairing with red.

I asked for help with a similar coloured dress last week ... Here's the link to the thread . Some great suggestions for colours ( although I was looking for mid heels)
