talk to me about your post baby boobs

so.... pre my two beautiful babies I was a size 8 and a 32D/DD. To be fair I had been on Yasmin contraceptive for about 8 years which made my boobs materially bigger than they were before. However, two wee babies later my breasts have almost completely disappeared (32A just) - only because they were once big, they are now just a bit wrinkly and depressed looking. I am 36 and still a size 8. So my question ladies, was did you experience a total disappearance of breast tissue after babies (I breastfed both for 5 months each)? And if you did, did it ever come back? I have gone back on the pill now and live in hope that my two girls might be tempted out of hiding, but my DS is now 15 months old and things are not looking good!

I feel I am too young to have such depressed boobs and am seriously thinking of getting implants (yes I'm vain enough to consider and no, absolutely no pressure from DH). However having said that I am happy to wait 6 months to see what happens - i just wondered if anyone else's had returned either naturally or as a result of the contraceptive? I know these things shouldn't matter, but they do to me.

Also, if anyone has had their boobs done post children I'd be really interested to hear how it went! Thank you.

Size 8 has about a 25-26 inch waist. While I'm sure it's possible, it's quite unlikely that a rib cage of that size 8 person suddenly flares out to 34 inches. If your 32-34 bra is tight, try it on backwards, so cups are on your back and hooks in front - it could be that it's the cup that's too small, and therefore the bra feels tight.

I bf both my children (9 and 6) for around a year each. Before children I was a/B cup, happy with that. Post feeding, they have shrunk to less than AA. I'm a size 10-12 and to be honest I'm happy with them.

I have come to terms with them I suppose! They fed my babies for two whole years, and I'm healthy and my husband doesn't seem to care, so nor do I. If you feel the need for implants, you should, but I suppose maybe give yourself time to adjust to your new post baby body?

I have given up on stiff padded bras as frankly it was a joke, they were empty inside! Now I wear a pretty lace crop top and get on with it. I read once an interview with an athlete who said basically she had no problem with her body, if anyone else did, then frankly it was their issue, not hers. I thought that was a great mindset. I try to see the upside - no painful back, easy to run for a bus, better when exercising, fit well inside clothes, etc.

gerbo how do you get clothes to fit nicely? I love the idea of lacy crop tops, I have a drawer full that don't often get worn.

I was a small but pert 32 A before children. I'm a size 6-8. After breastfeeding both Dd's for 12 months, they're looking rather sad for themselves, I'm virtually flat chested bar a bit of loose skin and sagging nipples. I've considered implants, just small ones but I'm not sure I want Lego tits and the whole PIP scandal really put me off.

Mine came back! I breastfed twins for 3 years (not much in third year, only bedtime I think) and when I stopped they were very deflated and lacked tissue/fat or something. I felt quite crappy about them and rarely took off my bra in order to avoid obsessing over them! After 6mths-1year they started to recover their plumpness, went on to be much fuller. Still got some fine stretch marks and nipples are changed forever, but I am happy with them!

Before babies, I was a small size, and after I was a bit bigger. Pregnant again now, so totally different story :)
