Skincare to buy in spain

Am in Spain and was wondering if there is any good local skincare or cosmetics worth looking out for? I'm early forties with very fair skin and blue eyes. (Typical Scot). I like nice moisturisers and serums if that helps.

I get my retinol cream in Spain, its extremely cheap and you don't need a prescription just ask the chemist for it. It's not in fancy packaging and doesn't smell of anything though, so if you're after 'nice' stuff then I've no idea!

Oh that might be an idea. Thx. Do you use thus just like serum but o y a couple of times a week?

Oh and is there a specific brand I should ask for?

I don't know the 'brand' (not at home at the moment to check, sorry) but just ask the pharmacist for retinol and they'll know what you want. There's 2 strengths, get both (its cheap!) start off on the lower one and in 6 months+ or whenever you feel ready, move onto the stronger one.

Just apply a small amount on your skin as you would any other cream. You can then apply night creams etc. over it if you like, but it needs to be the first product on your skin at night.

You MUST wear high SPF during the day, your skin will be more sensitive to uva/b rays

Lots of threads about it on here, it's done wonders for my crows lines!
