Shellac pedicure - idiot's guide?

I'm using some birthday vouchers tomorrow to treat myself to a shellac pedicure! I've never been for anything like this before so just wondering what to expect. Can anyone fill me in? Thanks.

It's just like a normal pedicure until the polish bit, they'll sort out the shape of your nails etc. When they put the polish in you stick your food under a uv light thingy (obviously the technical term) and that's about it. Dry straight away which I love.

The polish lasts months tooGrin.

It can't be taken off with normal polish remover which is the only crap bit. As pp said last for ages and stays shiney.
