Lactic acid for skin

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for lactic acid skin exfoliant? I am not sure if glycol if acid suits my skin or makes it worse (haven't stuck with it long enough to see if my skin settles), as I often get quite painful hard pimples after using it. I was thinking lactic acid might be gentler. I have a Eucerin one but it's a bit too perfumed for me. I do use salicylic acid but just wonder if an aha may help with the surface feeling better; also I'm hoping to fall pregnant so perhaps cutting down on the salicylic acid use. Thanks.

Bravura Lactic acid £9 ish I think. I've not tried it yet but their Glycolic & salicylic acids are good.

This stuff is brill, as are all of their products! They have a few skin peels which use fruit enzymes in varying strengths. I highly recommend Grin
