I was wandering down my local high street today, and I spotted outside a charity shop a rail with a number of jackets and and coats on a it. Joy of joys there was a gorgeous light weight tailored tweed blazer, in my size! I tried it on and, and it was a perfect fit. So, I went inside to pay and was charged 99p! It's just come out of the washer, can't wait until it's dry so I can try it on again. I'm thinking about Autumn, skinny jeans, brown ankle boots....so pleased with my bargainous purchase! 😁

I too love an eBay bargain! I have recently won a Karen Millen top for 4.99 and I got my DS a gorgeous waistcoat and cravat for an upcoming wedding for 3.99 Smile

In other news I popped out to get some shopping today, and a new charity shop has opened up near to me..hurrah!. I got a gorgeous cream M&S Autograph top, a black pencil skirt (no label but good quality) and a purply grey Red Herring cardi, a complete work outfit for £6!!

Funny, I'd just been thinking about this. After 6 or 7 years of seeing nothing but pre-bobbled Matalan, I've had some great charity shop finds recently: beautiful H&M leather jacket, Paul Smith metallic cardi, Whistles top, unlabelled oversized merino jumper, Diesel denim jacket, Paule Ka wool skirt. Total cost about £40.

Husband went one better and found an Al Pacino-esq leather coat which is exactly what I'm looking for. Not jealous at all....

Really good to see and maybe a sign of an upturn in the local economy at last - although the reports are that it's about to tank again.

When we lived in London a few years ago I used to walk with ds in buggy up Earl's Court road, to Kensington High Street and visit all the charity shops on the way, other times we would go down to the Kings Road area.
One day We got some great stuff, Joseph trousers for me, fab material, Daks smart jacket for dh, dry as a bone coat for dh and loads of toys for ds. All for around £40 in total, still wear the trousers now.
