I need to rave about a hair product

Either that or I'll have to phone friends to tell them and that would be weird.
Just two blobs of Schwarzkopf Got2Be Allstar 10-in-1 has transformed my frizzy, highlighted mess into a silky, shiny wonder. And it has done this without turning my fine-as-silk tresses flat as a pancake; in fact it has more 'body' than I think it's ever had. And I've been out and about all day in this heat/humidity and it still looks like I've just had a blow dry. It's bloody miraculous.
I just needed to tell someone.

I have super thick wild bush head hair which when straightened is the hair I love yet by the time I'm back from school run (half hour walk each way) my hair's doubled in size again Grin.

So far, elvive extraordinary oil and L'oreal mythic oil are best I have found to smooth and hold the style. My sister and 18 year old niece get the products I've used once and are useless on my hair Grin

ihatethecold · 23/07/2016 16:42

Shameless place marking so I can get some too

sulee · 23/07/2016 20:41

I found this today in Poundworld - result!! If it doesn't suit, at least I haven't wasted too much.

ootsideinbacktaefront · 23/07/2016 20:47

Can anybody link to it on Amazon??

MrBoot · 23/07/2016 22:17

I bought this and used it today. I washed, conditioned and towel dried and then put a couple of squirts of this in my hair. I found it made my thick unruly wants to be curly but is instead a frizzy mess hair even frizzier. I dried it as usual with my hairdryer and brush but my hair didn't properly straighten out like it usually does. It retained more 'kinks' than usual and looked a bit wilder.

What am I doing wrong please?

PacificDogwod · 23/07/2016 22:21

Amazon link

Shame I just chopped all my hair off! Grin

gaggiagirl · 23/07/2016 22:40

Bought this today in pound world. If it's rubbish then I haven't lost out too much.

ootsideinbacktaefront · 25/07/2016 08:30

Thanks, will give it a go.

GreyBird84 · 25/07/2016 21:37

I picked this up because of this thread & am so impressed.

My greasy lanky fine hair even has body after sleeping on it all night.

Def my holy grail product, never found anything that worked for my hair before!!

SuckingEggs · 25/07/2016 21:50

So, is it ok for thick hair? Mine is thick and coloured but can get frizzy. Will it get massive?!

MrBoot · 25/07/2016 22:29

I have thick hair and it didn't suit my hair. It could be the way I was using it. TBH I found it harder than usual to straighten my hair (using brush and hairdryer) as it seemed to encourage my natural waves to remain despite my best attempts to straighten it. However, it did help with the frizzier bits around my face, it really tidied them up so I think it might be better on less thick hair, but I will definitely continue to use it on the frizzier baby hair bits at the front.

Hmm, I shall try it. Thanks MrBoot. I've got similar hair and those baby hair bits can get out of hand!

Cheesymonster · 26/07/2016 15:56

Oh and if you have fine hair like me, try their volumising powder.

Shop · 26/07/2016 17:01

GreyBIrd how did you use it? I have done hair and would love something which left it with more body the next day!

GreyBird84 · 26/07/2016 18:04

I have shoulder length hair with a fringe. I used 2 pumps worked it through mid length - ends then dab on roots & fringe.

I just rough dry my hair with a hairdryer & my hands - I have no co- ordination for brush & hairdryer ! I then went over it with my straighteners - but not too much. As Another poster said its slightly harder to run straighteners with so I couldnt over straighten it.

I'm really no use at styling my hair so I couldn't believe when the next day I maybe could have gone without washing it !

Shop · 26/07/2016 19:06

Brill, thanks GreyBIrd, that's really helpful. Your hair sounds just like mine & im no good at styling so I'll give it a try how you've described.

thenightsky · 26/07/2016 20:37

Picked some up today on the back of this thread.

Just washed, towel dried and run one squirt through my hair. Will blow dry in about half an hour, when I've finished drinking my wine Grin

(thick frizzy hair with strong kinks of wave that don't point in the right direction here)

Clarabelle40 · 30/07/2016 11:05

This stuff is amazing! I used it for the first time yesterday and blow dried my fine, wavy, blonde hair straight and managed to achieve the kind of swishy style I can usually only dream of! I didn't even bother with straighteners. Got up today and whereas I usually resemble Medusa in the morning, I am astonished to find my hair is still smooth and somewhat swishy! I can actually leave the house with only a quick brush and a squirt of hairspray Grin

thenightsky · 30/07/2016 13:13

Well.. I've thrown mine away. It was an utter disaster. Made my hair very dirty and dull looking and left a nasty sticky dirty feeling on my fingers as I blow-dried. It took 3 shampoos to get rid of it too!

SealSong · 31/07/2016 19:21

I used it for the first time today and I like the results. I have fine wavy-ish hair that is prone to frizz. I used a couple of pea sized blobs on the bottom half of the length, left it to dry naturally. It needed a little brush when dry, but has given me lovely shiny non-frizzy hair with reasonable volume and has definitely helped the waves. Good stuff.

Gatekeeper · 01/08/2016 09:43

I bought some at the weekend and I am impressed; I have coarse , wavy hair and it tamed it and brought out lovely waves and curly bits. Don't need much either so thanks for posting about this Smile

pinkieandperkie · 01/08/2016 13:03

I bought this three days ago and have a fine straight bob. It gave be angel hair! really super shiny and soft. I use two small pumps and spread evenly over hair before blow drying. It's on offer in superdrug £2.70 I think.

Propolis · 01/08/2016 21:10

I bought this after reading the thread. My hair is thin and frizzy, and it worked great on me. Recommended!

Scuttle22 · 01/08/2016 21:13
