Alternatives to Mulberry

I do love Mulberry bags but they are hugely £££ and I know lots of people say they are not worth the money. I have a couple of Mulberry bags plus some others but really fancy a new bag this year.

What other brands could I look at? Everyone seems to have Michael Kors these days, what's that all about? I'm not keen on very obvious branding or too much bling.

As to style, I'm not sure yet. And I prefer medium sized.

I have some lovely Modalu bags. Much cheaper than Mulberry!

I like Russell & Bromley. Half the price of Mulberry too.

I love Fossil bags.

Dancergirl · 20/07/2016 09:04

Russell and Bromley may be a possibility. Not keen on fossil, sorry.

Will have a look at modulu. I'm not exactly sure what I love about mulberry but I really love their bags! The styling, leather etc. Their website is total handbag porn for me!

Keep the suggestions coming please.

What are Coach bags like?

OP posts:
ladyformation · 20/07/2016 16:12

Picked up a Coach in NY 2.5 years ago and it's just about reaching the end of its life now, having been used and abused pretty much every day since (I'm monogamous with my every day handbags, if promiscuous with evening clutches...). I love it, gorgeous soft leather, straps at my perfect length and exactly the right size.

Now I'm going to have to invest in a new something so I'm watching this thread with interest...

Kate Spade so lovely not too £££ bags

teawamutu · 20/07/2016 21:09

I got a Marc by Marc Jacobs Natasha for a big birthday this year and I LOVE it. Great size, wonderful leather, less than half the price of Mulberry.

Westcountrygemini · 20/07/2016 21:19

I've mulberry and coach bags. Mulberry feels more quality I guess but coach is still really nice leather and, well, just practical. However, I wouldn't buy a coach bag in the UK, too expensive for what they are this side of the pond.

Whistles. Always leather and beautiful styles

Joneseygirl77 · 20/07/2016 21:33

Tory Burch. I've got a cross body that I picked up in their winter sale. Impressed with the quality for the price.

Another vote for Kate Spade - fabulous quality!
