Would really appreciate some advice please :)
Ds is 4 months old, but I have definitely not shifted the baby weight yet, Im a size 16 at the minute and this is literally the only dress I have thought would do :/ but I'm really paranoid about my arms also, plus with the weather not knowing what to do with itself I'm thinking I need some sort of shawl or wrap? Or would that be too old fashioned?
This is quite a nice wedding in a high end venue and I am just dreading it due to how I feel about myself at the minute!

What would you wear with this dress for a wedding?

That's loveky! I'd go for navy shoes and a pashmina, I dont care if it's old fashioned. I love a shawl!

Ps the dress is from Whistles and I have nude shoes and a bag I could match it with if that helps :)

That sounds perfect - a navy or cream pashmina?

Rainatnight · 17/07/2016 18:29

Little gold/sparky cardi? Hope you have a lovely time.

SonicSpotlight · 17/07/2016 18:32

I don't know how to style it but I love that dress.

CeeCee00 · 17/07/2016 18:33

I personally hate pashminas. They age you 10+ years. I'd buy a smart silk bomber or duster jacket in a plain colour instead. Try Topshop?

MissMalteser · 17/07/2016 18:34

So hard to find something :(

Thank you Sonic, it is a lovely dress and I got it on sale too which makes it even nicer :)
ceecee I would love to find a jacket to go with it but I am very big chested and most styles are too tight around the bust unless I go for a blazer style which wouldn't be dressy enough?

Thank you rainatnignt but the dress' main colours are blue and orange so I don't think a gold cardigan would go?

Lovely dress. Try Zara, New Look or Urban Outfitters. I got a fab wrap/shawl from UB with lovely birds embroidered on shoulders at the back.

BananaChew · 17/07/2016 18:52

Oooh lovely dress!

Rainatnight · 17/07/2016 18:53

My theory is that gold goes with everything. It's basically a neutral.

Runningupthathill82 · 17/07/2016 19:17

Gorgeous,gorgeous dress.
A cardigan or shrug just wouldn't work - itd ruin the look completely IMO. And pashminas are awful, they scream "I'm at a wedding and I don't know what to wear."

A really lightweight blazer or silk bomber would look better but I really you need to let that dress shout on its own. It's beautiful. With shoes in the red/orange colour that's in the dress, or perhaps gold?
