What to wear for a interview

I work in retail where we wear a uniform.

I have a interview coming up and I am at a loss as to what to wear.

I don't think I have anything summery that is suitable for a interview so I am looking for something new. Drawing a blank however..

I am a 16 like stuff like Finery, Pure. White company type of clothing I don't mind it being feminine however I do NOT want black (it doesn't suit me always makes me look fat - yes really I dont get why it is said to be slimming and I really just dont like black)

I have a blue dress that I could wear from banana republic but last time I wore it was for my mothers funeral so I am not sure it is a good one to wear just yet..

I am happy with dresses/skirts and trousers. Don't really want a suit as I wont have need to wear it again any time soon.

Any ideas?

Tidy dress you can wear with a jacket or smart cardigan. As long as you are neat and clean, smile and answer personably mo one will notice providing you aren't outrageous. My bug bear is gum chewing and candidates, customer facing who say "you know" with every sentence.

Think about questions and how you might answer them in advance. Write out possible answers to fix them in your head. Good luck

I am not too worried about the questions etc as they want similar to what I had at last interview (about a month ago) However I simply do not have anything that seems even half suitable.
