Smart casual work trousers for petites

Struggling to find the right fit and bored of plain slim fit black.

I tend to buy from Next but they are boring. I'm about 5ft1 and still sometimes find short lengths a bit long so I can imagine you must struggle.

Boden do petite but I haven't tried them, have you? Gap also do petite but not in store as far as I can tell, again I haven't tried them. Sorry, not much help as I'm on a tight budget at the moment, but I am interested as I would very much like some nice trousers when my finances improve.

I tried Boden but the fit was bizarre - made me look really stumpy!
