Pants/knickers/smalls

Hi style gurus,

I have hit a bit of an economy drive and unfortunately have to say good buy to my ck pants. I like the bright coloured 100% cotton ones in a bikini style like in the picture (disclaimer- may or may not be my bottom). Where can I find pants that are as nice but less of an extravagance?

Thanks

Ashamedly M&S Clad Bottom here but..........

My very stylish DD likes Uniqlo and Pink ( though I'm not sure if the Pink/Victorias Secret ones are 100% cotton)

I thought you were asking Pants/Knickers/Smalls what d'you call them?
It'll be breeks or drawers Grin

mypropertea · 15/07/2016 15:24

I always say knickers but my very hip aunt was appalled but this so I couldn't just call the thread knickers. It is a good sub question though, what do people call them?

The pink ones are nice, but I will need to look into the cotton content

Surprisingly Superdry knickers are excellent. Colourful, cotton, bikini style, excellent quality. I like this type too. Oh also Hollister.

Bonds are great but not cheap: www.johnlewis.com/bonds-cotton-hipster-bikini-print-briefs/p2803834?colour=Culture%20Club

I know my colourful cotton knickers! Hard to find decent ones and have spent ages searching over the years.

Tanaqui · 15/07/2016 21:47

Johnny B at Boden- age 16 is about an adult size 12. Or TK Maxx sometimes have gym honey which look similar but aren't quite as good quality cotton as the superdry type ones, but much cheaper!

IJustLostTheGame · 16/07/2016 06:57

Do they not do these at TK Maxx?

mypropertea · 28/12/2016 12:28

I splashed out on bonds in the sale. Love them so much I will either feast or starve to make them fit...

I call them knickers. And my arse is purely an M&S one.

summerson · 28/12/2016 12:44

For reference my "panties" are mainly from la Senza. You can get them 5 for 3 or some deal is usually on! various styles and not all lacey, some good cotton ones too!! Incl cotton strings

taybert · 28/12/2016 13:05

Sainsbury's are surprisingly good...Knickers.

CallarMorvern · 28/12/2016 13:57

I wear Asda minis. They last well, prints can be a bit variable, There's some nice lace topped ones in at the moment. They are v. inexpensive.

IHaveBrilloHair · 28/12/2016 16:23

Pants, and thanks to you lot I've just spent £100 on them and bras from Superdry and Hollister.
Ahh well, can save money next year Grin

I've never heard of Bonds before but have ordered some from House of Fraser to try. Thanks for the recommendation.

rubybleu · 28/12/2016 23:51

I'm an Aussie who is meh about Bonds. I find them uncomfortable with seams in the wrong places, but I'm also averse to coloured knickers. Black only for me.

I like Benetton, Uniqlo or GAP for knickers.

carrie74 · 29/12/2016 09:40

Victorias Secret ones for me. I like the variety (both of colours/prints but also styles), and the ones I buy are always cotton. I usually buy when in US, but with the ER at the moment, I'd be happy buying in the UK at the moment. I think it's 5 pairs for £25.
