Brown eye pencil?

Can anyone please recommend me an eye pencil? I like a smudgy look so a gel or pen is out as it looks too hard on me, have a Barbara Daly one which is a nice deep brown, smudges well, but as I'm getting on a bit, my eyelids are drooping so it transfers onto the lid and disappears after an hour or so. Was recommended a Bourjois one with a smudge tip, but its not dark enough.. using an eye primer hasn't made any difference. thank you.

I recently bought a Smoke Stick from Topshop, reduced to £3 that smudges when first applied but then does not budge, seriously does not move. Very impressed. They had a few shades and I'm sure there was a dark brown one - might be worth a look if you're passing one locally? I got Fools Gold which is a v dark bronze.

No7 stay perfect in brown
I apply it and it can be sharp then mushed up too.

Mac Teddy is gorgeous, dark brown with shimmer, blends really well
