I'm quite happy as in my pre-preg jeans for the first time, but have quite a serious muffin top and this striped number is just the right side of baggy to cover it.

Now I just need some mum boots and a butterfly print scarf

It's one of those tops where the sleeves and shoulders are open at the top.

I must wear at least two stripe tops a week.
I'm nearly 30 and will never get sick of them.

I like black and white stripes - makes me feel all Beatnik.

I don't own anything with stripes, apart from socks.

I live in stripes. Always have done. I don't suit or like ditsy / floral / Aztec or leopard print so I'm pretty limited in terms of patterns.

Those who don't wear stripes - what do you wear?

I don't wear either skinnies or Breton tops . Does that make me young and cool ? < desperate >

I wear plain stuff in different textures, mainly natural fabrics. Pretty boring really. I accessorise with jewellery and occasionally scarves when it's cold. I have a couple of dresses with a tiny print on them but I really don't like patterns or flowers.

That's my main wardrobe- pre, during and post pregnancy! Love Breton and skinnier!

That's my downfall; I'm crap at accessorising so plain tops just look really boring on me.

Most of my clothes are plain too, I don't really do pattern, except stripes or occasionally something like a big window check. I don't really do black and white stripes either as it's a bit harsh on my soft features. I wear the least cool stripes ;)

I'm scared of stripes. Someone told me that horizontal stripes make you look wider. I really can't afford to look wider. So I've never owned a breton top or a stripy item of clothing at all. I love cold shoulder tops though. I really like my shoulders out but I feel self conscious in strappy tops as I don't like my upper arms. So I've been wearing cold shoulder tops for over a year now. Odd they have suddenly appeared everywhere this month.

I quite like stripes but I'm with pug - navy/white and black/white combos don't suit me at all - way too harsh. I'd buy more if there was a bit of variety in colour and I'm suprised so few retailers have cottoned on.

I have oversized strippey tees or bf tees and mom jeans or bf jeans. Also have a pair of dungarees back of wardrobe woth tags on I am yet to brave seeing light of day in. I moved on from skinnys and long or 3/4 sleeved striped tops and skinnys but not ready to go away from that style completely just yet. Maybe if you do not feel comfortable mox and match things up a bit.

I love stripes - have masses of stripy tops in various colours and lengths. I'm large and tall and they definitely don't make you look larger - it's a myth. I tend to continue wearing them, though do also have plain tops and a few with subtle patterns.

I just bought loads of clothes online and kept a few bits.

Including a striped Breton type top. But in a different colour.

And some skinnies. They were cheap.
