40th present?

My lovely friend is 40 soon. Any ideas for a stylish present? £60-£70. A nice treat or little keep sake? Help!

I was 40 last week - best presents (other than from DH) were:

Hermes purse from a dress agency (ie. secondhand but would still I guess have been £70-100+ between my two close friends) Are you near an Outlet to get something from Reiss/Osprey etc?

Lovely leather belt with bead circles on it. Obviously that's subjective depending on her style.

Fine gold chain with my initial on a small gold disc. Monica Vinader does some gorgeous bracelets and pendants in your price range. Or an Alex Monroe animal?

White Company gift set - I love a smelly candle so they are always a treat

I also got a sloe bush, magnolia and tree peony

Other ideas - crystal glasses (wine/champagne flute/gin or whisky tumbler depending on her drink of choice). Cashmere poncho? Felt fedora

Something different - clay pigeon shooting lesson?

Jewellery is always nice - perhaps a locket with an engraving or a pair of earrings with her birthstone?

A Wine membership to a monthly club - or any tipple she's fond of?

A day out for the both of you at a spa, or a weekend away on a cheap city break?
