Help! Outfit for a fancy dress party

Hello everyone
I'm going out for the first time in over a year (since DC2 was born) and my hubby is taking me to a fancy dress party. Theme is super heroes & villains. Any ideas what I could go as? All outfits so far seem to involve way too much Lycra for my post baby body! My lovely husband suggested Supergran...cheers for that, love!
The good news is we have creative licence to make up our own super hero or villain.
Ideas please!

I went to one recently and someone was dressed as a character from Orange is the New Black. Alex, I think? Orange scrubs, thick rimmed black glasses and black hair- she looked fab! And was v funny

I went to one recently as cruella de vil. Cheap wig, long gloves and a cigarette holder (cost me less than a tenner for the lot) my own black dress and heels and I went to a material shop and bought a couple of metres of fluffy white spotty fabric and made a shawl type thing. It was pretty good (if I do say so myself) I love a fancy dress party!!
Have fun X

Firstly, don't dismiss the standard outfit thing: the right outfit can look good with a less than perfect body. Friend of mine went to one as Bat Girl: black mask, top, short back skirt thick tights and long boots. And looked amazing. Think she bough a commercial top with logo and cape thing and mask but the rest was improvised.

Secondly, I believe it is acceptable to "gender swap" your character. So if you want to slick back your hair, carry a gun, wear a suit and go as James Bond, or put on a long stripy scarf, floppy hat and go as Tom Baker's Doctor, etc, etc; that would all be fine.

Nigel Farage? Tweed jacket, packet of fags, short grey wig and pint of bitter.
