My eye wrinkles are really getting me down. I'm only 27, I feel too young for this but it's what I get for having a child that hates sleep. Is there anything I can do? Sad

Can anyone help me please?

Tbh your skin looks amazing!! I've heard ester Lauder have a great eye skin repair xx

goiaba · 12/07/2016 19:09

Those look more like dehydration lines than necessarily wrinkles from loss of collagen. I would recommend for you to remember to drink water during the day (sometimes we forget!) and invest in an eye cream with hyaluronic acid as main ingredient (or face serum that you can tolerate near the eye area). You should see an improvement fairly quick, within 2 weeks of twice daily use.

Thank you both and so kind of you to say my skin looks good.. it must be a flattering photo lol. I'll have a look for hyaluronic acid and try and drink more. I can see the lines all the time and am getting really obsessed with them tbh!

You really haven't got lines, you just have SKIN and good skin at that!

Seriously, you have good skin. Are you obsessing over a magnifying mirror? If you are, chuck it away pronto!

EightNoineTen · 14/07/2016 15:57

(I'm honestly not doing that fake thing where people fish for compliments.) I thought my skin was shockingly bad. I look in regular mirrors and magnifying. I have obsessed over different things in the past then years later look back to see I was normal, so maybe that's what is happening now. It used to be my arms were too big, then my thighs. I wish I wasn't like this!

Two problems here:

One is that you're using a magnifying mirror and the other is that you're comparing your skin to a baby's skin.

More like dehydration lines. It's pricey but Decleor hydrotenseur serum is good for this. Use for a month then stop. Start again in a month or so. QVC do good deals on it sometimes.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 14/07/2016 16:01

You need to ditch the mirrors, they're a load of nonsense and no one looks at you that closely.

Honestly, your skin and eyes are completely fine.

EightNoineTen · 14/07/2016 16:22

Thank you for the suggestion Jupiter. And you're probably right about the baby skin thing Imperial. I'll try really hard to stop obsessing over it. The other thing that's been worrying me is I think my nose has moved and gone a bit off-centre, dp says it hasn't. Do you think that's possible that It has? Blush

I think you need to step away from the mirror apart from twice a day- otherwise stay away.

Are you hugely tired and stressed? It sounds like you're focusing on things as a result of stress.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 14/07/2016 16:31

No your nose can't move suddenly unless you've bashed it REALLY hard and broken it.

EightNoineTen · 14/07/2016 16:43

I think I'm a bit stressed yeah. I will step away from the mirror. I know I'm sounding really vain but I feel so self-conscious. I don't remember bashing my nose but I'm sure it has moved a bit. I know deep down it probably hasn't... I'm going to stop postig now before I embarrass myself further but I appreciate all the replies so thank you.
