Frugi kid's clothes - sizing?

Is it on the generous side? Was thinking of getting some dresses in the sale for DD (small for her age). Just wondered if the clothes were generally true to size/generous/on the small side. Have never bought anything from them before.

They are larger than normal but will shrink 5-10% when washing as the cotton is organic/untreated.

Certain things come up small - I have just bought the skater dress in age 5-6 for my small 4 yr old (age 3-4 fits her in everything else...)
