Eye make up remover for very sensitive eyes that isn't £££

Any suggestions? I tried the simple one yesterday and it killed my eyes and woke up with sore spot under my eye!

I recommend the Nivea double effect eye make remover which is oil based, the liquid is two tone and you shake it up and apply, it takes off even the most stubborn make up and I have very sensitive skin and eyes and I have had no irritation when using it, on my second bottle of the stuff actually. Btw, I cannot use any of the simple range as they all irritate my skin particularly their face wipes.

Ponds cold cream works well for me. Simple stings me too.

Boots cucumber eye make up remover gel. It's £1.50 I'd link but boots.com seems to be down.It's never stung my sensitive eyes and shifts even waterproof mascara.

'Simple' is a con. I find every one of their products sting.

Baby lotion works well, I also have Waitrose Essential Pure eye makeup remover which is nice but not great on waterproof mascara.

The boots cucumber one and baby lotion is perfumed which is a no no for me :(

I use plain sweet almond oil. Costs very little, and is very effective and gentle. You need to wipe over with water at the end though or you have a blurry film over your eyes for a bit.

Oil is good - olive or jojoba works well, they don't sting and you can use them for lots of other things.

When I had a breakout and super sensitive skin the two items that got me back to normal were Nivea Sensitive Micellar water and a big tub of aqueous cream. Both £3.
I ditched the expensive kiehls !!
Cream first then Micellar water for a double cleanse.

I bought the Nivea one and used it just now....no stinging!! Thank you
