£70 haircut - no-one noticed!

Had my haircut on Tuesday and no one has noticed! Admittedly, the style,is a neater version of what I had before, but I had some highlights put in, and no one has noticed

Dh did give an obligatory 'that's nice' but my teen sons and people at work haven't commented at all. I know think that people think it looks awful, hence no comment.

I know people don't have to say anything, but I'm a little,disappointed when i have spent so,much money, and made more of an effort.

My husband once commented on how nice my hair cut was, obviously very pleased with himself for remembering I was getting it done that day. I'd had to cancel the appointment though so it was just the same as before. I guess some people just don't notice these things.

People comment when I've been to the hairdresser's because he makes it all bouffant at the back and dead straight. My hair naturally curls up as soon as I walk out the door no matter how much I try to straighten it myself, not curly all the way up, just ends curly and it makes me think I just look awful the rest of the time!! I'd rather they didn't notice and it wasn't so different...

My dsis let her colour grow out and went grey and l didn't notice it the first time we met afterwards. She had blonde highlights beforehand so l didn't notice a radical difference. She kept saying look at my hair. I said it looks really good. She said what about the GREY??? I never noticed. I have a friend who always comments on things l change. Most others just continue as usual.
