Non-Cowell work trousers for muscly-thighed husband

DH is a rugby player and runner with big thighs, firm trunk, slim waist. Looks great in the buff but work trousers proving impossible. Waist 31, length 31. Any ideas? Suit trousers seem to fit better, not sure why.

We have this issue with DS (19) who has inherited his dad's chunky thighs and big bum- he currently lives in drop crotch joggers and I have no idea what will happen when he has to dress like an adult...

I find that the more classic trouser cuts behave better, possibly because of the pleats at the front adding volume to the top half of the leg.

If you've got any jeans recommendations I'd be interested!

Uniqlo. Dh is a cyclist.

Spoke do chinos and shorts, they do them by build so your dh will probably be a build C. My dh is an ex rugby player and has found Spoke his best fit and they look really great on.
