What can I wear with this skirt?

I brought this skirt from eBay, decided I didn't like it and tried to sell it twice but it never sold! Now thinking of just wearing it but anyone got any ideas what with? It's black with a lace overlay. A line.

Id try a top. And definitely underwear

Depends on your personal style and also the length of the skirt, as I can't quite tell where it'd fall from the pic?

Personally I think I'd wear a relatively plain, fitted white top with it tucked into the skirt. Maybe a long-sleeved one?

For casual-
Denim shirt tucked in
Breton striped top
Plain white, pink or grey t shirt tucked in
With either canvas trainers, lace up point shoes, flat slider shoes or espadrilles

For smart/dressy
Black shell top
White tailored shirt
Off the shoulder blouse
Cropped black or red 3/4 sleeve little jumper
Heels, block mid heel shoes, peep toe booties

Sort of like this with a plain coloured top - casual but still looks stylish and put together.
