Hi, I no this sounds really silly but just got suspenders and stockings for the first time and don't know if you have to wear them over or under your knickers. Think my husband wants me to keep the stockings and suspenders on when well you know what i mean . Can anyone help.

Knickers over the tip of the stocking and suapender belt the only exception to this is when the suspended belt is not a belt but a slip. Hth

Long term stockings user. Although in pictures the pants are often underneath the suspenders, I always wear pants on top so I can go to the loo without unfastening the suspenders. No idea if that's correct, but it's what I've done for 20 years!

pants over the top, goodness knows how all the models think they are going to manage to pee with their suspenders over the top of their pants.

Ok knickers over suspenders , but how do i get the back suspenders attached to the stocking top? I'm running out of time now HELP. .!

...buy holdups next time, most chaps don't know or care about the difference so long as there is a bit of exposed thigh.

Hold up and suspenders are a useful, belt-and-braces combination.

Also - the modern style of suspender belt with the plastic hooks are a pain. You need a vintage style belt with proper metal clips. What Katie Did and Kiss Me Deadly have some excellent stuff.

Hold ups are good until they lose their hold. Spent one interview desperately clutching my thigh and praying they weren't going to give me a tour of the workplace, as the hold up worked it's way to my ankle.

I hope fun time lasted a while longer than it took to get ready.

Yes the fun time was a resounding success, even though one of the back suspenders pinged off the stocking top half way through 😠still had the desired effect.
