And if you don't mind which moisturiser & primer?

I am fed up spending a fortune on products, for most of my make up to have slid off by lunchtime.

Non budget:

Double Wear
Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation

Medium budget

No7 Beautifully Matte

Tight budget

Seventeen Stay Time Foundation

Topped up with NYX powder they usually last well until after work or early evening.

I don't use primer.

Thank you, do you use a moisturiser? or any other miracle face product for oily skin

I feel your pain. I used to have really oily skin. Age/declining hormone levels has settled it a tiny bit.
But I remember the search. One of the long wear ones is the only foundation that lasts. So ELDW full strength if you like heavy (I don't) or Light, or Revlon clolorstay for oily skin (full coverage). Both have texture like pva glue and will not budge. But they can be a bit mask-like so you need some kind of othrr stuff to soften, like highlighter or light diffusing magic stuff.

My skin is less oily and now I can use Chanel Aqua vitalumiere or Chanel Perfection velvet or some such overly long name (like this post), both lovely and glory.
Smashbox primer, or Lanacane as often recommended here

Thank you, it's really bad being in your 30's going about like a greasy spotty teenager if only I looked anything else like a teenager

I feel you FFF. My skin is very oily. The upside is no wrinkles (hurrah!) and us oilies age better so they say, so we'll appreciate it when we're retired! Grin

I use:
Lanacane as a primer
ELDW foundation, just a teeny bit applied with a a brush
Corn Silk powder (i buff a tiny bit on the T Zone both before and after foundation)
Then bronzer / blusher
Then Urban Decay fixing spray

Its not fail safe, i do need to touch up with powder once mid morning and again mid afternoon, but its the best combo ive found for my skin.

I moisturise in the evening after cleanse and acid-tone, but never in the morning.

My skin is combination but gets really oily on the Tzone. I find it gets more oily when I don't moisturise. Mornings, I use the Elemis procollagen Marine Cream over the Redermic R La Roche Posay. I then wear the La Roche Posay Effaclar BB Cream over this. I use the Laura Geller Powder foundation on top. Lasts all day.

I mourn the passing of Neutrogena skin clearing foundation. I think you can get it in the US still bit not here.

I now use Benefit Oxygen Wow.

TapDancingPimp · 02/07/2016 21:24

Glad to read someone else doesn't moisturise in the morning, I used to feel like I was going against the Holy Grail of skin regime Grin.

I moisturise at night also, using No7 at the min, think it's just called beautiful skin night cream.

Thank you all for the recommendations I will work through these until I find the products that work for me.
