curling wand advice

I need to buy myself a curling wand with a thicker than normal girth according to my hairdresser the dirty bastard.

Which should I get? Any recommendations? Looking at putting tousled waves into my hair.

Ooh DD has just bought one . She has thick , dead straight waist length hair and these are the only device that has worked . She ends up with beautiful hair . They are Remington

Just bought the Cloud 9 original wand which is great but is conical so I would look at the waving wand which is the same thickness end to end.
