what do you carry your lap top in?

Starting a new job soon and I need to carry a laptop to and from work on the train. I don't want to end up carrying what looks like a hideous school bag (I have one now and it is the same size as my torso) and figured I deserve a treat- new bag it is.

The bag of dreams must fit a medium size lap top and have space for my lunch. Preferably a dark colour so it doesn't show dirt.

I have a black leather bag with bright pink insides from shonaeastondesigns.com . It's really strong and I can easily fit my laptop in it.

Mine is in the hideous black nylon bag that work sent it in 😳. I'll return to the start of the thread and read it very carefully now.

I'm in the same boat OP. Laptop is 15" and I don't like any of the Knomo ones that fit that size. Finding this thread really useful as I've been on the hunt for a new laptop bag for weeks now. All the bags I see are clearly designed with men in mind.
