Pashmina intervention

Like an idiot I've bought a sleeveless dress for a wedding. I larve it, though I note it's one of their bestsellers so there will probably be a couple at the same wedding this is it. My immediate instinct is to reach for a pashmina (not that I have one - but the thought is there). There's a jacket thing in the same print but I've run out of money and will have to scratch around on eBay. What sort of shape would you go for? Match, clash?

Noooo pashmina!

What about a sort of drop-shouldered blazer with cropped sleeves?

ZaZathecat · 01/07/2016 09:21

I imagined a grey silky kimono over it. The closest I could fin was this.

That is lovely what about a sleeveless blazer

Pantsalive · 01/07/2016 10:06

I wonder if this sort of cropped jacket would work over it?
Linea jacket
I think if you get the dress, it would be worth trying on various styles of jacket so you know what to look for on ebay.

No pashmina! Hate that look at weddings! Something much more contemporary needed like a short jacket or kimono like previous posters have suggested. I wish everybody would drop wearing wraps and pashminas to weddings!!!

Yes totally, I recognise the pashmina I v Wrong just unsure how else to play it. Many thanks for links to play with.

Pretty dress, nice colours and print

annandale · 01/07/2016 22:05

Gorgeous pretty, but just too £ unfortunately Sad

gives me another route to try though.

Would either this or this work?

Bit difficult to tell online, but the colours might pick out the deeper pinks in the dress.

That is lovely but I think any top will spoil it. Just have cold arms. (Or a G&T before setting off so you don't feel the cold.)
