Has anyone used a highlighting kit at home?

I can't get to a salon because dd doesn't take the bottle anymore so I can't leave her for that long. I've looked into mobile hairdressers but they all seem a bit rubbish tbh, so I'm thinking about doing my highlights at home with one of those kits I've seen advertised on TV.

Are they any good? How difficult is it to do?

I always do. Works ok!! Follow the instructions, though.

I've used Garnier multilights lots of times when I don't have the time or money to go to a salon and they've been great.
Even my hairdresser admits I do a good job with them!

I've given up with the holey cap and just kinda paint it on!
