Help me find a bridesmaid dress

Right so be kind....
Here is the problem
Wedding is at the end of September.
2 children sorted. 1 adult not sorted. Left so late as she was losing weight. Lots of dresses looked at and 2 tried on.
We are looking for a shop in the Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Hatfield areas that you can go and try dresses on rather than online.
She is a size 16 - 18 pear shaped.
Idea want a silk type fitted dress as she feels that the floaty one we have tried make her look big.
Have been in the Debenhams, beales, next, house of frasier and bhs.

Any ideas if any shop still have them on the shelf?

You might find something in Phase Eight, they seem to have lots of larger sizes in their sale online.

I have the beaded maxi that faux linked above, it's beautiful, I'm a size 10 but I can definitely see it being flattering on any size/shape.
I wore mine to a black tie awards evening

I'm looking for silk, faux silk or something very similar to match the childrens dresses. The problem I'm having is finding a shop that has them on the shelf so she can try before we buy rather than ordering online.

Will the bridal shops not be having sample sales in August?

I think you might struggle, that looks like a 'proper' bridesmaid dress usually found in bridal shops and usually way above your budget the prices are extortionate frankly

Im getting married in December and bought my 3 bridesmaid dresses from a high street store and they were £70 each and that was one of the cheaper options I found. They are beautiful but not officially bridesmaid dresses hence me getting them for that price. There was no way I was paying £300 plus for one dress.

Try Facebook selling groups, there are a lot of bridal ones or eBay as a PP mentioned? Sample sales at dress shops? Google oriental pearl they sometimes have their dresses reduced and as you only need one you don't have to worry about finding 2 of one you like.

I had a feeling that was the case we have found some online in our budget that we all like but not sure if that style suits her so want to take her to a shop to try some on before before buying one maybe online if they are that expensive

Try tk maxx, they often have lovely evening dresses that you could use as bridesmaid dresses
